Sometimes it’s difficult to imagine how unrequited love could even exist. You fall in love with someone and you watch as they begin to permanently inhabit a part of your mind. You think about this person every day, and the happiest moments of your life are immediately ruined because you think about how much better they could be if they were shared with the one you loved. How can they not be aware of your obsession? How can you endure not being with someone you know you were meant to be with?

But this person wasn’t completely unaware of how you felt. In fact, they fell a little bit in love too. But it wasn’t enough, and your feelings for them were always much stronger than theirs for you. It didn’t work out in the end.

This kind of thing happens all the time. Some may call it Tragically Tedious.
